About Me
Rosemarie Barbalace, LCSW
Rosemarie “Rosie” Barbalace is a multicultural and multilingual therapist who keeps it real. Rosemarie is trained in yoga and mindfulness and has experience working in high schools as well as clinics throughout NYC and NJ. As a first-generation American who grew up in a multicultural family, Rosemarie integrates this perspective in helping others realize their unique goals and dreams. Rosemarie specializes in treating anxiety, women’s issues, and Latinx/mixed-race, First Generation American, and Gen-Z identityIng spaces.
Rosemarie Barbalace, or Rosie for short, is the Founder of Mindful Healing House, LLC, a space that blends mindfulness practices with self-compassion and authenticity. Rosie began practicing mindfulness in 2012 and teaching mindfulness in 2014. Through studying Hatha Yoga, Yoga for Children, Reiki, and receiving her master’s in social work from Columbia University in 2019, Rosie discovered pure potentiality. Simply put, pure potentiality means tapping into the higher version of yourself – mind, body, and spirit.
