Your Journey to Healing: I Affirmations

Your Journey to Healing is an offering that walks you through accessible and interactive tools for wellness and healing, from A-to-Z. One lesson in Your Journey to Healing involves I-Affirmations. I-Affirmations are repeated statements that can be used for psychological change. Simply put, to use an I-Affirmation is to intentionally affirm to oneself. I-Affirmations are best used in front of a mirror. You can whisper I-Affirmations. Or, you can verbally repeat them out loud or in your head. You can practice writing I-Affirmations in an Affirmation Notebook upon first waking up or before bed. You might notice an instant mood shift after you fill 1-2 pages in a journal with I-Affirmations.

Lastly, remember to practice patience when using I-Affirmations. They will be planted in your subconscious mind, and it will take consistency to see change.

Here are some examples of I-Affirmations:

  • I am willing to change.

  • I am totally open and receptive to a wonderful new position, using my creative talents and abilities, working with and for people I love, in a wonderful location and earning good money.

  • I feel glorious, dynamic energy.

  • I am willing to see my magnificence.

  • I speak and think positively.

  • I am in the process of making positive changes in all areas of my life.

  • My income is constantly increasing.

  • Every experience I have is perfect for my growth.

  • I am willing to change and grow.

  • I am worth loving.

  • I let go of all fear and doubt, and life becomes simple and easy for me.

  • I am an open channel for creative ideas.

  • Life supports me in every possible way.

  • I forgive everyone in my past for all perceived wrongs. I release them with love.

  • I dwell on positive thoughts.

Consider the idea of adding music, movement, & creativity by mixing I-Affirmations with a passion or hobby of yours such as fitness, competition, love for learning, or art.
